Alexandra Pantzis, D.D.S.

Dr. Alexandra Pantzis started Avenue Dental in 2014 after working in several offices as an associate. She is dedicated to providing patients with excellent dental care while making them feel comfortable and at ease.

Dr. Pantzis is a native New Yorker who attended Hofstra University on a dean’s scholarship, majoring in Psychology and Chemistry. Throughout her college education, she also worked as a dental assistant on Long Island. She then continued her studies at New York University College of Dentistry. While here she mentored first-year students in clinical skills and excelled with Honors in Esthetic Dentistry. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a Nationally-recognized Dental Honor society.

After receiving her DDS degree, Dr. Pantzis completed general practice residency training with Lutheran Medical Center at SUNY Downstate Hospital, formerly LICH. Her additional hospital training enabled her to gain experience treating comprehensive dental needs, including those of medically complex patients and dental emergencies.

Dr. Pantzis is dedicated to gain your trust and make sure you are comfortable while providing the highest quality dental care. She is an Invisalign provider, a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and New York County Dental Society. In her free time she enjoys spending time with loved ones and her biewer terriers, peloton, and photography.
